stick wood to metal shed wall

im wanting to insulate my metal shed as its my fish room. ive got a heap of ploystyrene sheets that i want to stick to the inside walls and roof, but every 2 sheets i want to put a length of wood so i can board over the insulation.
my question is whats the best adhesive to stick 2x1 to the metal sheeting walls

In the US Liquid Nails would be the most popular brand of construction adhesive, but any general purpose construction adhesive should work...

    I personally like

    or

That is probably your best bet short of physical fasteners, but beware that in time the glue might start to fail as the side of a metal shed in the sun will reach some high temps then drop down to low temps at times, that along with age will have it's ill effects on the glue... Although possibly unsightly, if you want reassurance get some pole barn or steel roof screws with the built in rubber washer and once the board is glued in place, go outside the shed and screw through the shed wall into the board...
