    no mate not end grain cos i cant get any chunks big enough so i,ll just do em with the face grain instead

    Showing some serious skills! I am in the middle of a FJP (paint grade) stand build myself... I don't have the tools you have to create these wonderful profiles. Thanks for sharing the inspiration!

    Do the Balusters provide any structural support? If not (IMHO) I wouldn't use them at all. I think your cabinet/stand is just beautiful without them.....just say'n.....Click here to enlarge

    no bud they are just for decoration.......i will cut em so they slot on to the corner and will tie in with the tank canopy/surround as the corner posts will be turned also
