Am I the only person who hates these damn things? I can't believe how expensive they are. I have one that was given to me with a big clown and it had killed a hawk fish and I'm blaming it for the disappearance of my wrasse too as it looked rather large the same day the wrasse went missing. Anyway just venting about my hatred for the green carpet!

Dont you have to keep anemones with certain fish?. Cause they are dangerous in some cases. Do you have a pic?

Well clowns go with anemones but some anemones are pretty harmless and some are aggresive. Green carpets are very aggressive! I have met a guy who had a huge scar on his arm that was four years old from a carpet and herd about a friend of a friend getting nerve damage in his hand from one. ....... I will post a pic later

That crazy Shazo, I was just talking to a friend about this a few nights ago who was talking about getting a Haddon's anemone. Carpet anemones are savages.

They would be fine in like a nano with some clowns or something but I'm getting rid of this one before I put my dotty back in the tank. I'm gonna take it to my lfs tomorrow he will take it in trade. It has its foot planted very deep into a big ledge rock so I'm just going to take the whole rock in.

I strongly advise against it. Guy at lfs said he has known them to eat turbos and crabs too

I have a 6inch Green Carpet Nem. in my tank and he minds his own. I target feed him every other feeding and he just kinda hangs out lol Did u target feed yours?

No I didn't that may be where I went wrong but honestly even with target feeding its to risky for me.

Yea i understand that, stuffs to expensive to be risking it like that. But with some of these animals, target feeding is a must!
