Hi there guys and gals. I was just woundering if there was any rock that are common in everyday life here on land that are safe to use in a marine aquarium.

I have looked into making my own rocks but the curing process is a little longer than I can afford to wait.

If there are rocks that are safe but need to go threw a cycling process of some sort to make them marine safe please dont be shy to mention these also.

Thanks

Have you looked into base rock aka dry (live) rock.
it's not gonna be live, but other than that it's the same as live rock.

You have to cure any natural rock you find too. The best bet is to get clean rock from a limestone quarry. BRS gets its reefsaver from the Florida Keys I think.
